Steve has over 20 years of experience in the field examination and asset based lending industry. Steve is a Licensed CPA in New Jersey and New York and is a member of the AICPA, NYSSCPA, NJSCPA and Accountant’s Club of America. Steve is the former chairman of the “Cooperation with Bankers and Other Credit Grantors” committee of the NYSSCPA. Steve has published five articles on the subject of field examinations all of which have been featured pieces appearing in The CPA Journal and The Secured Lender. Steve has also been called on several occasions as an expert witness in the US Bankruptcy court.

Philip has over 13 years of experience as a field examiner. In addition he has 12 years of banking experience as a corporate banking officer, credit officer, credit manager and credit analyst. Philip’s experience includes his role as the credit manager of the precious metals management division of Engelhard Corporation (now BASF). Phil oversees all of our firms commodity based field exams.

Barry has over 14 years of experience as a field examiner and is the manager of our Connecticut office. Barry oversees all of our field exams relating to health care and taxation, Barry has had exposure in all areas of the manufacturing, health insurance, apparel, staffing and commodities industries. Prior to becoming a member of the R & F staff Barry worked for over 8 years in a CPA firm preparing individual, corporate and not-for-profit tax returns and conducting year-end financial statement audits.
